I bought, or should I say babe bought, this awesome headband thing for me today. This photo doesn’t do it justice and it keeps all my bangs out of my face since its on a tiny elastic band thing. I got it for fashion reasons, and because I needed something to keep all my hairs out of my face when I’m breastfeeding my little chubby guy in about 80+ days.
Plus, it was a bogo sale, and I got a really cute antique “tea” colored little flowered headband too, AND FINALLY a pair of white sandals (with flowers on them, of course because I’m a floral addict, thank goodness I’m not having a girl or she’d look like a walking garden) all for 30$. Cha-Ching!
Also this is proof of how ridiculously long my eyelashes are.
But I cheat, I use fabulous mascara. :3
-an elephant ceramic tea pot
-a tea ball with a teensie cup on the end
-a new cup for me to have said tea in. It’s got three little bees on it since I call my son my baby bee
-a jewelry tree for the bathroom so I can stop having to untangle my stuff when I want to wear it
-a super cool steampunk looking magnifying glass for Abe’s desk. Decor +1
-a grey, white and yellow seven piece bedset. It came with three accent pillows, me gusta
-a black wooden end table with funky shaped legs. Was so sick of our stupid folding slotted table.
-pooper scooper for doggies that spend more time pooping than moving.
-an awesome blue, green and yellow crocheted elephant for Greyson, he has a fuzzy belly which made me excited.
I think that’s it. I’m so excited about all of it. The tea pot was like a treasure to me, I held it to my chest like other people wanted to steal it or something the entire time we were in the store. Still wanting to go back and get the owl nesting measuring cups I saw. I was pretty much begging for them, but since we already have “grown up” measuring cups, technically I don’t neeeeed them so we didn’t get them. However, he said if I could come up with another practical use for them I could get them. I think I’m going to either make candles out of them or plant herbs in them in the kitchen. Or perhaps just go get them anyway and put them on a shelf, make super cute big smiling faces and pretend nothing happened. Hahaha
All we need now is curtains, another light source, a wall mount for the tv and some shelves and super cool bedroom 2k12 is done! Then onto baby’s room. :3
tomorrow.
Today-I bought a bra in a bigger size & panties the same, since I’m not fitting into much and I need to be comfortable. (Demand is more the word.) I went for coffee with a dear friend of mine I haven’t seen in ages (half caff. honey vanilla latte! UNF.), and more shopping happened after. I bought a fantastic wrap around sweater, some leggings (also large) and a pretty summer dress that I intend to wear with some wedges and tights when little bee gets to stretching out in there.
I also lost some money somewhere in the mall. About 40$. I hope the hands it fell into could really use it and/or needed some cheering up. I get paid later this week, so I needn’t be greedy. Someone probably needed it more than I, so karma helped. Life leads itself in large circles.
Tomorrow- I have my first doctors appointment since all this journey began. They have to reconfirm that I’m pregnant (as if my round body doesn’t do that already), and then I get to schedule my ultrasound for a day the love has off from work. I cannot wait to hear this lovedoves galloping heartbeat and see it’s little wiggle-worm features on that screen. My heart is eager beyond all reason.
