Last time I checked, sleeping with someone before I was in a relationship- pre babies and pre this life wasn’t a crime.
Neither is sleeping with an equally single man that wanted me to sleep with him. That asked me to sleep with him. A decision that two able minded able bodied consenting attractive at the time adults can make.
Yet here I am years later being chastised for being a sexually active then single woman who did absolutely nothing wrong other than lay down next to someone who in retrospect didn’t deserve my company, but had it. A whole lot of it. Often.

Yet that’s not the story being told and here I am being made to feel ashamed for my actions and being expected to apologize for them, of all things.
